Vitamin K2 The subform with the best availability

Vitamin K exists in several forms. The two most important are vitamin K1 and K2. For a long time, only vitamin K1 was the focus of science. It is found primarily in green vegetables.

Vitamin K2, on the other hand, is rarer: it is only produced by bacteria and is therefore found in fermented foods, for example in sauerkraut or certain types of cheese. Vitamin K is needed to maintain normal bones and blood clotting.

Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (all-trans)

In addition to vitamin K1, FormMed also uses vitamin K2. Studies have shown that vitamin K2 is better absorbed in the intestines and also stays in the blood longer. In addition, FormMed uses the subform MK-7 (all-trans) that occurs naturally in food and whose effects have been proven several times in studies.
