The GBA quality seal: Guaranteed safety through independent laboratory testing
FormMed stands for premium quality: you can always rely on the effectiveness of the preparations and on the safety due to the highest purity. In order to meet this requirement, we have always done more than the strict German laws require. This means that we guarantee safe micronutrient treatment for you with high-quality preparations.
Demanding laboratory tests for double safety
As a pioneer in terms of transparency and safety, we are now taking the next step: We subject our preparations to precise analyses by the independent GBA Group. The preparations are analyzed for heavy metals and microorganisms, and preparations with plant-based ingredients are also analyzed for over 600 pesticides. After passing the laboratory test, the batches are awarded the GBA quality seal certificate and go on sale. You can then download the certificate from the FormMed Shop.
Since we will of course continue to use tested, high-purity raw materials, we are giving you double the security. Voluntary, because with food supplements such as our preparations, there is no obligation to test the end product before sale.

Da wir selbstverständlich auch weiterhin geprüfte hochreine Rohwaren einsetzen werden, geben wir Ihnen damit doppelte Sicherheit. Freiwillig, denn bei Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln wie unseren Präparaten besteht keine Pflicht, das Endprodukt vor dem Verkauf zu prüfen.

How does a laboratory test work at the GBA Group?
After production, a sample is automatically delivered to the GBA Group to test a new batch. The sample is randomly selected and is of course unopened. The GBA Group analyses the sample for all parameters relevant to the quality seal. We cannot influence this testing process.
Are the capsule shells of the capsule preparations also analyzed?
Yes, the capsule shells are also analyzed.
Why does the GBA Quality Seal program offer more security than the legal requirements?
In principle, every manufacturer is only allowed to sell safe preparations - this is required by law. However, the authorities only carry out random checks. As a premium provider, this has of course never been enough for us. We use highly pure, tested raw materials - and with the quality seal program, we now even have finished preparations analyzed. So we offer more safety of our preparations on all levels than is required by law!
What is the difference to previous laboratory tests?
Even before we took part in the GBA quality seal program, we had already used tested raw materials, but had not yet had the finished products analyzed - see the answer to the previous question. We are now increasing this high level of safety even further: With the independent confirmation of the GBA quality seal, you can be sure that we carry out comprehensive analyses that go far beyond the legally required level. And since we are constantly developing, the GBA quality seal will not be our last initiative for more quality and safety.
What happens if a batch does not meet the requirements of the GBA quality seal?
This has never happened since we had the GBA Group analyze it. If it were to happen, we would of course never offer such a batch.
Answers about the preparations
How do I know that a product has been awarded the GBA quality seal?
You can recognize it in the FormMed Shop by the quality seal image that you will find next to the product image. Since we cannot constantly update the product catalog, we do not include this information here.
Why can't I find a seal on the label?
It is easy to put a seal on the label for our larger cans. It is not so easy for the smaller cans because the mandatory information has priority. Therefore, a textual note is often enough, and this is not possible on the smaller cans either.
Where can I download the GBA quality seal certificate for my product?
You can download GBA Quality Seal certificates for each preparation in the FormMed Shop and on the GBA Quality Seal website at gba-qualitaetssiegel.com.
The certificate for the currently offered batch is available for download in our shop. Call us (+49 (0)69/76 80 56 98-22) or email us (Info@FormMed.de) if you are missing "your" batch. Or look at gba-qualitätssiegel.com - there you will find the certificates for all batches that have already been tested. Please note that we started having our preparations analyzed by GBA in November 2020. Therefore, there can be no certificate for earlier batches.

The GBA Group also analyses the products of other manufacturers. However, FormMed is the first and currently only provider to have its products tested for the GBA quality seal.
