EPAX® fish oil
Purity: the be-all and end-all of fish oil

Only with maximum purity can you safely enjoy the positive effects of omega-3 fatty acids. Fish can vary in its contamination levels with heavy metals or pesticides depending on the type and source. In addition, pollutants in the fish oil can destroy the omega-3 fatty acids. Therefore, FormMed uses EPAX® fish oils of the highest purity.
What does EPAX® stand for?
EPAX® fish oils are cleaned several times to remove harmful substances such as heavy metals and pesticides. In addition, only fish from sustainable fishing is used in production to protect endangered species. And that's not all: by removing undesirable components, the fish oil has a longer shelf life and is more neutral in smell and taste than conventional fish oil. FormMed guarantees you the highest quality in terms of purity and durability.
Particularly low pollution
Thanks to the special purification process, EPAX® fish oil has a particularly low level of pollutants. It is far below the maximum permitted levels in the European Union:- Lead: 0.025 mg/kg of a maximum of 0.1 mg/kg
- Mercury: 0.005 mg/kg of a maximum of 0.5 mg/kg
- Dioxins, furans and dioxin-like PCBs: 2.5 pg/g of a maximum of 6 pg/g
And on top of that: highly concentrated with the best bioavailability
EPAX® oils are concentrates. This means that you need to take far fewer capsules to get the recommended amount of omega-3. In addition, EPAX® fish oil consists mainly of fatty acid compounds that the body can absorb best - so-called triglyceride bonds. These occur naturally in fish and can be ideally broken down by digestive enzymes.
