We all want to live in a world that is as intact as possible - but at FormMed we also depend on this for our preparations. This is because many raw materials can only be obtained in the required quality in an ecologically sound environment. At least in the high quality that is a matter of course for FormMed preparations. It is therefore just as natural for us to act as environmentally consciously as possible in every respect.

Goodbye combustion engines, we are now burning for e-mobility: all new company vehicles for our colleagues in the field are electric cars. As the number of FormMed therapists continues to grow and many of them value personal support in their practice, this adds up to countless car kilometers every year. The CO2 savings that we achieve through the changeover are correspondingly high.

At FormMed, there's always fresh fruit and vegetables in the kitchen. That way, a snack is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins – and we know a thing or two about vitamins. Our vitamin supplier for the kitchen is Fruitful Office. While we appreciate the quality of their produce, the key reason we chose them is something else: Fruitful Office supports the "Planting Fruit Trees Project" by RIPPLE Africa in Malawi, planting a tree for every fruit basket sold. With our love for kitchen vitamins, we are also making a small contribution to this wonderful project.

We are grateful for how well things are going for us, and we want to share our success. That’s why we regularly support charitable organizations that make our world a little better. At the heart of our efforts is our annual major donation campaign during the Christmas season. In addition, we often make larger individual donations for specific causes.

It has quickly become our favorite Christmas tradition: Since 2017, we’ve been supporting charitable organizations with Christmas donations to help them do good. We distribute our donations to several recipients to provide diverse support. Of course, we focus on organizations whose goals perfectly align with our values: ensuring the best possible, healthy life for everyone in as intact an environment as possible.

What makes our annual campaign special is that all of our colleagues are involved in selecting the various recipients. This makes our Christmas donations truly employee donations, not corporate donations – and that brings us a great deal of joy.

Financial support for charitable causes is needed year-round. When necessary, we are just as happy to help outside of the Christmas season. It would be too much to list all the recipients we’ve assisted since our company was founded. Here, we mention just five as representatives:

A strong and lived understanding of compliance is a fundamental part of our corporate culture – regardless of legal regulations. We hold ourselves to the same high standards as we do for the quality of our micronutrient supplements. Only by doing so can we gain and continuously reaffirm the trust of our customers and therapists. Above all, we believe that acting correctly in life is always the right thing to do, no matter the success of the company.

To firmly establish and make our compliance culture transparent for all colleagues, we have officially documented it in writing. The Code of Conduct and the Sustainability Code provide clear guidance on how we behave at FormMed. We have all confirmed with our signatures that compliance is not an empty promise but a lived company culture.

As we naturally adhere to all rules and laws, we generally don’t provide grounds for whistleblowing. However, if our colleagues, customers, or suppliers should notice any misconduct or irregularities, they can easily report it. We have set up online reporting channels for both internal and external whistleblowers and prominently display this in our premises. The law firm appointed by us as a reporting office guarantees complete confidentiality.

When someone starts at FormMed, their first appointment is with data – specifically, a data protection training session. This multi-step online training by our data protection law firm provides comprehensive knowledge on the proper handling of data. The acquired knowledge is then tested. Even long-term employees are regularly invited to attend such sessions to refresh and update their knowledge. This ensures that data is always in the best hands with us.

The EU's Health Claims Regulation governs which nutrition and health-related claims can be made about food. As our supplements fall under the category of dietary supplements, we are also subject to this regulation.

You might think that adhering to legal requirements is a given – and for us, it absolutely is. Anything else would not align with our ethical standards. However, due to the Health Claims regulations, we are often unable to make as many claims about the effectiveness of our products as science would allow. Other providers might be more relaxed and make more promises. So, it’s worth mentioning here, even though it really shouldn’t need to be said.
